We spent the afternoon with their family and lifelong friends. And they included us in that group.We had a nice group of folks at our table, mostly younger. Shucks at our age there are a lot of folks younger than us.
We did a little dancing, not as much as other parties, but still got on the dance floor.
After the party, we were pooped out and rested the night.
Since Karolyn just returned home after being with her mother while she passed, the kids decided to visit them Sunday afternoon. And the grandchildren came also.
We had a great time. Nate played with the dogs. While Owen ran into Marks protective arms.
I guess his arms are comfy as Jessie found them inviting also.
The rest of us sat in the Sun but the Shadows moved quickly and soon we were in the shade.
Its not often that families get together and really enjoy each others company. Sitting and hearing the laughter, the screams from little dog frightened boys, well, I can't get enough of it.
